The Project
NAWT Logo Design

The BRIEF
Rebranding the National Animal Welfare Trust
The National Animal Welfare Trust functions as a prominent re-homing charity within the United Kingdom. As the trust commemorates its 50th year of operation, I took the opportunity to work on this personal project and enhance its brand to better align with its esteemed status as one of the leading animal welfare charities in the UK.

The CHALLENGE
The initial challenge centered on a logo with varying stroke dimensions, leading to difficulties in digital application, and insufficient boldness to effectively grab viewers’ attention. Additionally, the brand name’s length posed legibility issues on small formats. The solution focused on refining the logo, enhancing its boldness for increased visual impact. Simultaneously, the brand name underwent simplification to an acronym to ensure better legibility.

STRATEGY AND APPROACH
I redesigned the charity’s logo, aligning it with a vibrant brand identity that resonates with their core mission and values. Retaining the original colours and incorporating the charity’s acronym, the new logo maintains continuity while infusing a fresh vitality.

RESULT
The brand’s refined simplicity and striking aesthetic not only make it memorable for its audience but also ensure seamless adaptability across diverse platforms and collateral materials, maintaining its impact and coherence across all mediums.
